The goal of this project was to design and make an insert for a class token. This involved turning a tapered blank piece on the Lathe to have a 1” working diameter. This was the first assignment in my injection molding course. I chose the front profile of a 1987 VW Westfalia Camper as it is my current daily driver. I have spent a lot of time working on the Westy with my Dad the past few years.
