Just Float was an early project in my injection molding course. The objective was to design a piece to fit into a 2x3 mini mold with ejector pins. The greater goal was to learn to use the Arburg Press and get comfortable with the machine.

This project design stems from summer days surfing at the beach and floating on paddleboards out past the end of the pier. Knowing there would be holes at the ejector pins, my intention was to use these pieces as keychains!
