Wavy was my final Injection Molding project. The objective was to design a part or series of parts to fit within the standard 3"x5” mold. The parts needed to interact with an existing object or multiple copies of itself in a dimensionally meaningful way. 

I knew that I wanted to make an art piece to display. My love of puzzles led me to experiment with different shapes that fit together seamlessly, ending on this seashell inspired shape. In order to display the pieces I inserted magnets into the piece so that they could mount onto a stainless steel sheet.

Materials: 6061 Aluminum, Dynaflex
